Located in jungles of Western Uganda, just east of Lake Albert and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Buseesa is a place of natural beauty and splendor. Buseesa is the seat of Buseesa Parish, which is a part of the larger Kibaale District.

Due to its remoteness, Kibaale District is often considered the “forgotten district” of Uganda. Many people in Kampala (the Ugandan capital) are often surprised that we are working in such a detached location, or the “bush” as it is known in country. The BCDC prides itself on its outreach to some of the poorest villages within Kibaale, and is devoted to the belief that everyone deserves an equal opportunity for a better life.
