Mitch grew up with Nick in Thousand Oaks, CA and currently resides in Washington, DC. Mitch first became involved with BCDC in 2011 when Nick moved to the nation’s capital and began expanding the organization. Mitch has been thrilled to be involved ever since, and his enthusiasm for helping others has helped the BCDC foster positive change for the people of Buseesa.
In 2014, Mitch spent two weeks in Buseesa overseeing the beginning of construction of the BCDC’s Deirdre Ann Academy primary school and helped manage loan meetings.
Since 2008, he has worked at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, supporting a wide range of law enforcement, research and development, and emergency management programs.
Mitch received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine and an M.B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
